  1. I think one of the most power tools to use in math is technology. Providing immediate feedback is key to enhancing math education. I don’t know why math teachers focus so much on the “showing work” component of solving a math problem, when I think it’s more important to provide that correct/incorrect feedback as students are working on math problems with technology. If you can incorporate games, all the better! I use MathXL for School by Pearson publishing, and it has allowed my students to really focus on getting the practice and feedback they need to be successful. It is not a game, but you can research games and provide that differentiation too to supplement.

  2. I agree, math is one place that I really feel like technology can make such a big difference. The school in Kake uses MathXL. I don't know much about it, but if its like most programs it can be individualized for every student. This is what I find most useful for everyday. What do you like best about the program?
